I will be giving a lecture about my current project centered on the diagram woodcutter of Kepler's Astronomia Nova (1609) on Wednesday, February 6 at the Symposium:

Nested / Nesting Authors
When does the woodcutter of the diagrams of orbiting planets in Kepler’s Astronomia Nova (1609) become another author of Astronomia Nova? When does a printer or even a printing press become another author of Laurence Sterne’s Tristram Shandy? In this talk, Abra will discuss the notion of nested authors and how laborers, craft, materials, text and representation converge or diverge for unintended and unexpected readings on the printed page.

I will also be exhibiting my artist books, publications, and printed matter at the Book Fair!

Personal Libraries Library in Vermont!

It has been a long time since I last posted! That is partially due to the fact that the Library (and Librarian) has moved to Central Vermont!

The Collection will shortly be in its new location on the second floor of this barn/shop:

The press was moved into its new studio space - after successfully traveling across the country:

And I just finished printing the most recent round of printed matter to send out to members and friends of the Library!
